Eastmark's community center at The 'Mark runs events all three days this weekend, from board games Friday afternoon to karaoke Saturday night.

  • 🎲 Game Day. Friday, 11 AM to 5 PM, at the Bus Stop at The 'Mark, 10100 E. Ray Rd. Drop-in tabletop games.
  • 🎨 Neighbors Night Out Paint Party. Friday, 5:30 to 7:30 PM, in the Classroom at The 'Mark. BYOB, with supplies and light bites provided. Registration required.
  • 🎤 Karaoke. Saturday, 6 to 8 PM, at The 'Mark.

The summer programming at The 'Mark winds down as the school year gets closer, so this is one of the fuller weekends left on the calendar.

  • 🌮 A new Vietnamese restaurant is coming to Ellsworth Road. Pho Banh Mi Café cleared its restaurant license for 3442 S. Ellsworth Rd, Suites 101-102. Lunch and dinner, no prior tenant at the space. Details.
  • 🛣️ Ellsworth Road could get one continuous speed limit. Mesa is set to drop the limit between Elliot Road and the south city line from 50 to 45 mph, making Ellsworth a steady 45 the whole way through. Council votes August 17. Details.
