This weekend at The 'Mark
The neighborhood's community center on Ray Road runs its summer programming straight through the weekend, from board games at noon to karaoke after dark.
- 🎲 Game Day. Friday, 11 AM to 5 PM, at the Bus Stop at The 'Mark. Tabletop games all afternoon.
- 🎧 Poolside DJ. Friday, 5 PM, at the Community Pool, 10100 E. Ray Road. A live DJ spinning 90s and early-2000s hits.
- 🎨 Neighbors Night Out Paint Party. Friday, 5:30 PM, in the Classroom. BYOB, with supplies and light bites provided.
- 🎤 Karaoke. Saturday, 6 PM, at The 'Mark.
All four are free resident events run by Eastmark Community Life. The paint party is the one to plan ahead for. It takes registration, and the Classroom holds a limited crowd.

- 🍜 A new Vietnamese spot is coming to Ellsworth. Pho Banh Mi Café filed for a restaurant license at 3442 S. Ellsworth Road, Suites 101 and 102. Lunch and dinner, no prior tenant. Details.
- 🏠 Mesa's housing market. 546 homes sold across Mesa last month at a median price of $452,500, down about 1% from a year ago.
